I'd rather be a sparrow than a snail.

I've noticed something very interesting today. I was on the way back from football today, and I was lying down on the grass in front of my place because the weather was just nice, and I was really tired. As I stared into the blue yonder, a plane passed by overhead. From my position the plane looked the size of the facebook logo next to the URL when you're at the page. As the plane passed by, I noticed that as the plane was directly above be, the sound of the jets were coming from an invisible source wayyy behind me. It's the same phenomenon with lightning and thunder, and it's just one of those things that make me go "wow this world is beautiful".

After giving it a bit of thought, I realise that a lot of the time we wonder what it is like to look up into the sky and hope for something brilliant to happen. That's how it always is in the movies nowadays, people hopelessly pondering at the sky, realising how pathetic/small/insignificant they were. I've also been coming across a lot of discussion topics lately on how life is so meaningless, whether we're part of a giant plan, or if we're just drifting along with the tide of socialities and norms. People don't look from the plane's perspective, and wonder how everything below is so colorful, and we should realise that everything around us is a miracle happening, or at least a miracle waiting to happen.

That's my two cents for the day, I miss blogging so much. =)
